Kat Von D Pastel Goth Rainbow Tutorial on Hooded Eyes | Vegan Makeup @phyrra

Hey guys, welcome back. Today I’m going to be doing a rainbow eye
tutorial with the Kat Von D Pastel Goth Palette. This past weekend I did a rainbow eye on my
friend, Judi, and it really inspired me, so I was like, “I should do one on myself,” because
I haven’t done one on me in, I don’t know, years. So, anyway if you like pastel rainbow eyes,
go ahead and watch this tutorial. I’m going to take the blue color Doom, the
inner part of my eye. I’m applying the color, Dope with the Sigma
E25. I want to make sure this color is just barely
visible when my eyes are open on the hood. We’re going to use the color Meow next. I’m making sure that you can see Meow when
the eye is open. Next take the color Clementine. Next I’m going to apply Star with the Sigma
E32. Last we’re going to use a little bit of Gloom. With a Real Techniques Base brush and the
color, Skull, we’re going to soften the edges of the color in the crease, well on my hood
if the eye, but if you have a crease, this is what you’d be doing. I applied Urban Decay mascara. I used my metal lash comb to basically comb
up through my lashes with a little bit of mascara on the tip. I’m not going to put on false lashes or anything
today. This what my lashes look like. Then, I’m just going to take the Sigma E35
and continue to soften the color on the crease or the hood, or whatever this is for your
eye shape. For my eye shape, this is the hood of my eye/my
brow bone. I did want to line my lower water line. I’m going to use the Nyx Faux White pencil
and this shade is called, Baby Powder. This is Ofra Versailles. The last thing I have left to do is highlight. I’m going to use the Kat Von D Alchemist palette. I’m going to take Amethyst and highlight my
cheeks. Holy crap is that super glowy. For fun, I’m going to put a little bit of
Amethyst on the center of my lips. I’m going to use the Real Techniques Duo Fiber
brush with Amethyst the highlight at the inner corner. I’m going to highlight a tiny little bit of
the upper brow. The finished eye look. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial featuring
the Kat Von D Pastel Goth palette. I certainly had fun making it. I haven’t done a rainbow eye on myself in
forever. If you found this video helpful, give it a

  • this is my fave rainbow eye, thus far, with this palette!

  • OMG your hair is amazing!

  • And I love this look! As usual you inspired me.

  • Thank you for doing a different look using this palette . The other reviews/ tutorials I've seen seems like they were all doing a recreate of what kat did which is boring .

  • That's great! 🌈🌟

  • I loved this look in the other video, I'm glad you broke it down for us!

  • Really fun to watch you create this look. Just curious, you don't have lash extensions right now. Did you decide to stop?

  • Beautiful! What eyelid primer do you use? Since I have hooded eyes, I have a problem with creasing and the only eyelid primer that works for me is the Urban Decay Anti-Aging one. Are there any other primers that work as well but are more cost friendly?

  • you look so beautiful with those colors! !! Great job on combining the colors. Absaloutly stunning on you. 😊💖💖💖

  • Gorgeous eye look!!!💙💙💙

  • Omg Phyrra!!! I love it!!! I love anything pastel and rainbow and this is just perfect!!! (:

  • Hi! I want to get your opinion on something. I am a licensed Esthetician and looking into attending make up certification classes. I would love to attend classes, but all the schools require you to purchase a make up kit which usually has a mixture of cruelty free and non cruelty free products. I don't want to be required to purchase a make up kit that I don't believe in. What is your advice? I have I have been cruelty free for a few years and you are my favorite blogger to follow, so thank you for the great content!

  • This is very pretty. You are so talented.

  • Not a fan of bright colors,.. But after seeing your look, I feel like trying it once atleast,.. Nice look,..

  • I love this rainbow look. I've never had the courage to try a rainbow look before for myself.

  • Hello Courtney I Hope You Are Enjoying Your Day Today & TGIF! I Just Have to Say "Wow" Because I Really Love This Adorable Rainbow Eye Look Using KVD Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette! If I Had the Money I Would Definitely Buy This Palette Because I Don't Have Anything That's Close to the Eyeshadows in This Palette! I Think I Have Told You This Before But I'm Generally Drawn to More Shimmery Eyeshadows as Opposed to Matte Eyeshadows But Because This Palette is So Colorful I'm a Fan Because I Just Love Playing With Colorful Eyeshadows! I Mean I Do Wear Matte Eyeshadows Too on Occasion But I Just Think a Shimmery Eye is So Magical & Very Flattering! You Can Create So Many Fun & Different Looks With a Palette Like This With a Ton of Playful Colors! I Really Love When You Do Tutorials on Eye Makeup Looks for Hooded Eyes Because My Eyeshadow Seems to Just Disappear Because of My Hooded Eyes! I Also Wanted to Know Where Did You Hear About Applying Your Powder Before Your Foundation? I Have Never Heard of Anything Like That and I Would Definitely Think it Would Be Gummy and Cakey Too But Maybe There's a Trick to it That I Don't Know About! Anyways Thanks Again for Sharing This Gorgeous Tutorial With Me, I Really Do Appreciate it & I Really Always Love Your Cool Makeup Looks & Tutorials! Have a Wonderful Weekend Court! – XO, Jana
