Full Body Skin Lightening Treatment To Lighten Dark Patches, Scars & Blemishes !!!

Hi friends, this is Ramya from wildturmeric. In this video, I wanted to share an amazing full body skin lightening and
exfoliating treatment that helps fade scars and blemishes that we have all
over the body. This is a wonderful treatment that helps us achieve an even
skin tone. The first time I used it, I was pleasantly surprised at how silky smooth
and soft my skin felt after using it. Unlike harsh chemical based scrubs, it
does not irritate the skin at all. The base for this scrub is sunflower seeds. Sunflower seeds are wonderful for skin care and are amazing skin exfoliators. So they help polish our skin really well. They are rich in fatty acids that helps
nourish our skin. Sunflower seeds have wonderful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory
and antimicrobial properties. We”ll benefit, when we both regularly consume
it internally and also use it externally for our skincare. I like to buy the whole
seeds which are available very cheap in all the departmental stores, grind, sieve and then use it for skincare. I love this scrub mainly because it is much gentler
than regular scrubs. Many experts do not recommend exfoliating more than once a
week or once in 15 days because generally exfoliating strips the skin of
its natural oils. Cell turnover which refers to skin making new cells is also
reduced. This is especially true when we use harsh exfoliating ingredients and
some ingredients can cause small micro tears in the skin too. That’s why I
prefer natural scrubs that are very very gentle on the skin like this. This scrub
if used weekly once will help give us a smooth soft glowing skin with an even
skin tone. The first Ingredient we need for the
scrub is coconut. I know using coconut might come as a surprise to many of you but try it once and you’ll keep using it again and again. Most of us
regularly use grated coconut for making coconut milk and after extracting the
milk, we simply throw the coconut meat away. Instead of throwing it away, we can
use it in treatments like this. It’s a very very gentle exfoliant that
brightens the skin tone well. It also helps fade scars and blemishes.
While making coconut milk, we generally grind the coconut a bit
coarsely so it will be easy to squeeze the pulp with our hands but if you’re
planning on using the pulp for this treatment, grind the grated coconut
finely and then extract the milk. The second ingredient we need is nutmeg. Nutmeg is one ingredient that we use regularly for acne treatments in our
village. We rub nutmeg in a sandalwood stone along with either rose water or rice
water and apply as a pack. Nutmeg helps treat back acne and if you are suffering
from it, I would suggest using nutmeg based treatments regularly. It also helps
fade scars and blemishes and is wonderfully fragrant. You can use either
freshly grated nutmeg like this or nutmeg powder sold in the shops for this
recipe. I will leave the online links for buying both in the description box below. The final ingredient we need is sunflower seeds. I prefer to use the
sunflower seeds with the outer hull intact because they help exfoliate the
skin well and it is also available very cheap. To use, grind the sunflower seeds
in a dry mixer finely and then sieve to get a fine powder. Make sure to sieve
else the mixture will be too coarse. Take 2 tablespoons of ground sunflower seeds in a bowl. Add in a tablespoon of coconut used for extracting coconut milk.
Even if you’re not using coconut milk in cooking, you can grate a coconut, extract
the milk and use both in this recipe. Now take a nutmeg and grate using a
grater over the bowl. The smell of freshly grated nutmeg is truly magical! If you don’t want to use freshly grated
nutmeg in this recipe, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of store bought nutmeg powder instead. Once you have grated the nutmeg, mix the
ingredients thoroughly once. Now depending on your skin type, you can mix
it with either plain water, coconut milk, rose water or rice water. Now mix the ingredients well. If you have extremely dry skin, use coconut milk. If
you have normal skin, use rice water. If you have oily skin, use plain water to
mix the ingredients. To use, take the mixture and apply it all over the body.
Massage for two to three minutes in long upward strokes and then wash it off
using a bath powder or a mild body wash. I’ll leave the link to the bath powder
recipe in the description box below. Even if you’re staying in a hostel, you can
use this recipe. Mix ground sunflower seeds, nutmeg powder and dry coconut
powder we get in the markets in a box and use it weekly once. Just try it once, and you’ll understand why I’m going on and on about how good this treatment is. I hope you found this video useful. If you like to support me and this channel,
