Hello, this is Kangna. It’s been a few months since I told you on Youtube and Instagram that I started the therapy for the scars. So many of you asked me like, ‘How is it going?’, or ‘Did you get any positive effects?’ Actually, today’s video is not about that. Now that I’ve got the treatment today, I’ll do the cover up makeup to make the face look like it has never been treated! Of course, after the treatment, it’s better to not wear any makeup, and just block the UV rays. But as we live our lives, there are some days that we need to cover the skin and go outside. For those people, I’ll do the upgraded skin cover up video today. Previously, I’ve uploaded some videos that are useful in covering up pimples and small skin issues. But this is going to be a more effective, in the sense that you can cover up more serious stuff. So this is a cover video that shows some new ways. I know that many of you are waiting for the review video of the skin therapy, but I can’t just upload videos without having observed the effects. I’ve only done half of the treatment so far. I’ve received 3 out of 6 sessions of the skin therapy, so if you wait a little longer, I’ll upload the skin therapy progress video for the scars. So please understand and wait a little more. Then I’ll get started. Firstly, this. SKIN&LAB Fre-C Sun Lotion SPF50+ PA++++ 19,000 won. The doctors would warn you as well after the therapy, but the most important thing is blocking the UV rays. Since the skin is under the condition in which artificial scar is made, it gets more irritation when it gets sunlight, hence pigmentation can occur. So you need to apply the sunblock thoroughly. Because I’m going to cover up pretty intensely, if the sunblock has a makeup base effect or a tone up effect, the makeup would look too thick. So a sunblock without any color, and especially after this kind of therapy, there’s a lot of keratin on the skin, so a moist sunblock needs to be chosen in order to sort of suppress the keratin. But if you use a too oily, glossy one, the cover up may get kind of collapsed down, so it’s better to use the sunblock which is moderately moist, and not too oily. Next, I’ll be applying the concealer. If you look at it, the treated part is pretty red. For this kind of red scars, it’s good to apply greenish? concealers. And like I said before, because I’m covering up more intensely than I usually do, I’ll use the more solid type of concealer. Espoir Taping Concealer Cover Up #Neutral green, 25,000 won I’ll be applying this one. And there’s a very important thing to be prepared. MAC 270 Mini Rounded Slant Brush 30,000 won. I’ve introduced this to you before, and I heard that this is a brush from MAC, which is to be only used for concealers. You see… There is an ample, and pretty short wools. You know those brushes we use to apply foundation? I think this is a smaller version of that. Normal concealer brushes look something like this. But today I’ll be using this brush to conceal. This concealer, I don’t use it often because it’s too solid, but it’s really more effective in, can you see? covering serious stuff. I’ll not apply it like I spread it out, but I’ll tap it. Not going anywhere beyond, but I’m just tapping and concealing the scar area. That’s because when I do an intense cover up, the wider the cover up area gets, the thicker the skin would look and feel. So just cover the relevant area as much as you can. Then, you might think the concealed parts would look like stains, but for now, just leave it like that. Don’t mind about it. When you’ve done applying concealer on the relevant parts, there’s a second one to apply, and that is… Espoir Taping Cover Cushion #Ivory 33,000 won. I’ve shown it to you in the previous video and I’ve recommended it on Instagram. Most of the products that I’m using today are from Espoir, including the concealer and the cushion. I wasn’t sponsored. This one has a very high cover up ability as well as absorption ability, so I’m using it a lot these days. I’ll… apply it throughout my face as a base. I always tell this to you whenever I do some cover up, when you put foundation on top of a concealer, you need to let the concealer settle for a while before you put on the foundation. When you don’t give time for the concealer to settle, and apply the foundation right away, the concealer gets removed when you put on the foundation. I guess… you already know that. And for the foundation, on the untreated parts, where you didn’t apply concealer to, you need to apply the foundation as thinly as possible. So after applying on these parts, I’ll apply with only the remaining bit, on the untreated parts like my forehead and chin. If you’re at this point, you’d have covered up quite a lot. But today, I’ll be even more greedy and cover up more. This time again, I’ll be using this brush. And I’m not using any more concealer again, but I’ll be using this cushion one more time. Put it on like this, and tap this way. To give you one more tip, I’m covering up with only the makeup, but if there’s anything that cannot be covered with makeup, you know those acne patches? Nowadays, they’re really thin and transparent, Nowadays, they’re really thin and transparent, and it sticks to the skin pretty well. If you put on the acne patch on that relevant part and wear the makeup on top, it’s less obvious than when you apply tons of concealer. But these days, there is this liquid acne patch, the one you spread on your skin and then wear the makeup, and you remove? it afterwards. There are those liquid patches? But for that one, it’s only good at first use, and it later falls off like the dead skin. So I won’t recommend that type. And when you tap, don’t add too much force, but more like gentle touches. Not single hard strokes, but multiple soft touches. It’s like as if you are only having a contact. After this, with this clean sponge with nothing on it, I’ll tap softly again. I think, for the skin, the results are pretty different depending on how many times you tap it. You’ll get different results and different duration of how long it lasts. TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL Art Class By Rodin Finish Setting Pact 16,000 won. I’ll be using this. Same for the powder as well. I won’t brush like this, but just tap it in order to not remove the base underneath. Next up, final step of the skin makeup. MAKE UP FOR EVER Mist and Fix 39,000 won. Finished covering up the treatment scars! Now I’ll do the remaining makeup. Please wait for me. I’ve finished wearing the makeup. I intentionally didn’t apply any blusher to let you see the skin better. I won’t say that the skin looks like it’s in an excellent condition, but doesn’t it at least not seem it’s got treated just now? I think the basics of covering up is always the same. Layering up lightly, multiple times. And giving time for the concealer to be fixed. And applying the powder thoroughly to increase the adherence. And since the parts that are covered up intensely have no choice but to get thicker, so for the parts that are not covered up, apply as light makeup as possible. Another thing is that if the makeup is a bit thick, the color needs to get more vivid accordingly. If you try to do the natural colors, it’s gonna be awkward and unnatural, ironically. So it’s better to use stronger, more vivid colors. Yep, I’ve covered up as much as I can. One limitation would be that I can’t really possibly cover up the three dimensional sort of issues, like if the skin is uneven and not plain. Yeah, that’s it. And lastly, I wanted to inform you of what kind of therapy that I went through during the review video, only after I’ve observed the full effects, but because a lot, a lot, a lot of you were asking me, and because I’ve got more positive effects than I expected after only half of the full therapy sessions, so I will tell you that I got a therapy called ‘new skin acupuncture’. I’ve got recommendations on Instagram stories from those who did get great effects from the scar treatment, and that therapy has got the most number of people recommending it. Of course, I wasn’t paid to promote it, but I paid my own money for the therapy. And like I said before, I’ll be uploading a video after the 6 full sessions are over. If you have any question regarding this treatment, the new skin acupuncture, leave your comments on the video comment section. Then I’ll answer them in detail in the review video. Ask me a lot of questions~ Thank you for watching this video today. This was Youtuber Kangna. Don’t forget to subscribe, like, and turn on the notification.
